For now, learn the chord with your right hand, just as the picture shows.
Later, you'll also learn to play chords with your left hand, leaving your right hand free to play the melody.

Smaller hands? The fingering shown works well for many players, but younger players may find 1–3–5 more comfortable. Use whichever feels easiest.

There’s no rhythm to worry about — just focus on the shape and the sound.
