Return to C major.

Play the chord slowly and comfortably, just as you did in Step 1.
Notice how it now feels more settled, after hearing the other chords that briefly moved the music away.

Listen in Context

Now listen again to the short opening of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.

This time, notice how the music feels complete when it returns to C.
After the gentle contrast and lift you heard earlier, the song naturally wants to rest here again.
